Airport pickup, houseboat check-in and an evening shikara to shake off the flight.

Day 2 · Doodhpathri · the valley of milk
West into Budgam district to Doodhpathri, where the Shaliganga runs milky-white over limestone. A walk up to the shepherd pastures and a night in a meadow guesthouse.

Day 3 · Yusmarg and the Doodh Ganga
Across to Yusmarg in the Pir Panjal foothills for the meadow, the river and an optional trail towards the Nilnag lake, then back to Srinagar.

Day 4 · Aharbal falls and departure
A morning run south to Aharbal to see the Veshav drop into the gorge, then back for the airport drop.
