What we collect

When you enquire or book we collect your name, phone number, and email if you provide one, plus the trip details you share, such as travel dates, group size, vehicle preference and any special requirements.

For bookings we also collect the identity and age details required by hotels, airlines, Inner Line Permits and government checkposts in Ladakh, and payment references for your invoice.

Why we collect it

To prepare and send your quotation, hold hotel and transport reservations in your name, file the permits your itinerary requires, provide on-trip support, and issue a proper invoice.

If you subscribed to our seasonal guides, we use your email only to send those. Every such email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Who we share it with

Only the suppliers who deliver your trip: hotels and houseboats, transport operators and drivers, permit authorities, and our own operations team. They receive the minimum required to service your booking.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it with advertising networks. Analytics on this site is configured with IP anonymisation and without cross-site tracking.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where you left it. Booking and invoicing records are kept for the period required by Indian tax law (currently eight years).

You can ask us to delete your enquiry data at any time and we will, unless it forms part of an active booking or a legal record.

Payments

Card and UPI details are processed by our payment provider and are never stored on this website or in our records. We only see a transaction reference and the amount paid.

Your choices

Write to us at [email protected] to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold, or to withdraw consent for marketing messages. We respond within a few working days.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only functional storage needed to remember your planner selections in the current session. If our analytics tags are enabled, they run in anonymised mode and record page views plus anonymous clicks on WhatsApp and call buttons so we know which pages help travellers.
