Day-by-day itinerary

Srinagar to Sonamarg

Drive to Sonamarg, gear check and acclimatisation walk.

Sonamarg to Nichnai

Trek through pine forests and meadows to the first camp.

Nichnai to Vishansar

Cross Nichnai Pass, camp near Vishansar and Kishansar lakes.

Vishansar to Gadsar

Climb the Kishansar ridge and descend to the Gadsar valley.

Gadsar to Satsar

Gadsar Pass, then the seven lakes of Satsar.

Satsar to Gangabal

Crossing meadows to the Gangabal and Nundkol lakes.

Gangabal to Naranag

Final descent to Naranag, transfer back to Srinagar.

Departure

Rest, breakfast and airport drop.
